The Illuminati Meter app utilizes your phone’s Bluetooth radio to establish a connection with the Illuminati Instruments IM100 meter. The app acquires data from the meter and showcases precise exposure, color temperature, and other light-related measurements on your smartphone. These readings can be utilized to input exposure and white balance data into your mirrorless, DSLR, or digital cinema camera. Additionally, the app provides information on illuminance (measured in lux) and CIE xy chromaticity data.

The Illuminati Instruments’ IM100 model is a wireless light and color meter designed for smartphones, pioneering a new standard in light meter technology. Compatible with various lighting sources such as daylight, ambient, fluorescent, LED, strobe, and HMI lights, it equips creators with the necessary tools for consistent exposure and precise color representation in both static images and moving visuals. Reliable and accurate data is fundamental for efficiency on set and during post-production.

Functioning in conjunction with the Illuminati IM100 Meter, the Illuminati Meter App offers an array of features including:

Exposure settings for still photography (ISO, F-stops, Shutter speed) and videography (ISO, T-stops, Shutter Angle, Frame Rate)
Color temperature control in Kelvin with green-magenta shift adjustment for optimal white balance
Color filter libraries featuring Lee and Rosco filters to aid in light color correction
Support for strobe lighting concerning exposure, color temperature, and strobe-to-ambient ratio via the built-in strobe metering circuit
Capability to connect multiple IM100 meters simultaneously to monitor various light sources concurrently
Alert function notifying users of changes in brightness or color temperature
Ambient light monitoring set at customizable intervals
Meter readings triggered through the app or by pressing the meter’s power button
Strobe triggering using the flash sync cord
Chromaticity data (x, y coordinates) alongside illuminance measurements (lux)
